CBS announced today that the eleventh season of Big Brother will air next Thursday July 9th (check local listings for time). CBS also posted information about the house, which sounds like is going green and going to be eco-friendly, the houseguests, and some photos of the house.
If you are not familiar with thi show best way to describe it is a group of 12 adults ( I use that term loosely) all living in the same house, being taped 24/7 competing for food, luxuries, and the Head Of Household position which is very important in this game. Each week there is a HOH and they get to nominate 2 houseguests for eviction, then later in the week there is a Veto competition that takes place giving the 2 nominees and some other houseguests the chance for safety that week. If the Veto is used the HOH appoints another nominee. Then during a live episode the houseguests vote to evict one of the 2 nominees, and a new HOH is crowned. This continues on until there is only 2 left in the house in which then the evicted houseguests will vote for the winner who wins a large cash prize.
So if you like back stabbing, plotting and people just flat out freaking out on each other because they are closed out from the rest of the world then tune in to your DIRECTV HD CBS channel next Thursday night for the season premiere.
